Are you interested in helping people wear their babies? This one day class looks at the reasons people wear their babies and how to help them find a comfortable option for them. We will be discussing tips and tricks for teaching use of the most common carriers available. The class prepares people to volunteer as Peer Educators with BVI, or to work within other organisations to support babywearing, understand how to support new mothers (and other caregivers) and includes information about how to ensure that you are giving good advice.
The next class will take place in Melbourne on 22/11/15. Small babies are welcome but if you are able to be child free that is recommended, the class is very hands on and physical. The full enrolment terms are here.
BEA strongly supports volunteer babywearing support and provides a discount to anyone willing to make a 12 month commitment to becoming a BVI Peer Educator. If you would like more information please contact us.
